Eric here! I’m in North Carolina for Christmas, Alana and Elliot sticking it out in LA, and Rob in New Mexico.. Time to chill out for a bit! We all want to say the Biggest thank you to everyone that has supported us this year! We love you all and can’t wait to rock out next year. 2010 will be Sol Giant’s year! Happy Christmas! xxx

So We’re pretty hyped about the release of our first record coming out here.. So we’ve decided we are going to have our CD Release Party @ The Viper Room on November 22nd.. We want EVERYONE to be there. All of our friends, family, fans, your pets, etc. Some pretty wicked good bands will be joining (see our FBook Event)…. We worked out a pretty cool deal too..

Ive been going crazy. I really have. But.. Not in a bad way- An awesome way. Sol Giant has a new member to introduce… or I guess UNVEIL. He’s wicked, he plays the drums, and hes the best (hetero man-crushin!). So, what were doin now—- Studio, finishing up some tunes.. Look out for the new photos… Yep re-doing some layout and things around the interweb here— All about the photo-shoot coming up with my good friend/ incredible photographer Jered Scott. And finally.. Last but not least…

Our next gig—- SEPTEMBER 9… THE MINT… West LA… Haven’t been out yet? Well quit sucking, and get with it. I’ll see you there ;)

So we played our first batch of shows here in LA.. Its been incredible. Never been more excited! All of our fans and friends, thanks so much for being apart of the launch of the band with us, you know who u are. Our big headlining gig coming up is taking place @ The Whisky A Go Go on August 18th.. We’re again, as you can imagine, hyped about it.. MADNESS… Tickets are only $10! Stoked to see all the positive and exciting response on the new format! Thanks so much for all the emails and messages! We have most definitely been thrilled about launching this and getting out and playing. So, check our calendar and upcoming shows (check it out all you los angeleans). Besides getting out, we’re headed to the studio to finish up the record I’ve been aching to release… Seriously- Not being able to release your songs to fans and friends is like having a baby and not giving birth to it… Sounds like I’m exaggerating? Well I’m not (haha). So, I’m thinking August is when to expect the whole package. But I’d be lying if I was to say that there wont be a new tune posted here next week, on the Sol Giant MySpace… Hmmm, I dunno maybe say next Thursday?? I guess we’ll just have to see, eh?

In the meantime, you all must familiar yourselves (if you haven’t by now) with the Alternative Press Blog at altpress.com… Check and read the latest from the founder Mike Shea with a plug on moi and Sol Giant music (plus a little video clip :)

Hello people!

We’re all hyped about the launch of the new band online tonight 12 am Midnight PCT (okay.. so, technically tomorrow morning). We will pick up where I left off with Which Way Is Home, and continue from here as Sol Giant. Does this mean a new record? .. Answer is: Yes.. Most definentely. The EP should be finished up by Mid-August.. Shirts?… Yeah we got some. Some fresh Sol Giant looking tees will do you some good (check out our merch store).
